Over the next few months, North Shore Bank will be implementing modifications in our markets that give customers greater access to our innovative financial tools and banking services.
Introducing stand-alone video teller locations
In an exciting extension of our video teller initiative, we will be installing video teller units at two additional El Rey grocery store locations. These will be stand-alone video teller units that are not part of an existing branch. The video teller service will go live at the El Rey Cesar Chavez Drive store first, followed by a unit installed at the El Rey Plaza 35th Street location in a month or so.
Our Jackson Park and El Rey branch teams will support the launch of the new video teller units by working on-site during busy store hours to introduce shoppers to the video teller and ATM services. They will also offer potential customers the opportunity to open new accounts with us, either online or at one of our local branches.
Silver Spring transitioning to stand-alone video teller
We brought video teller service to our Silver Spring office last week, extending customer access to 70 hours/seven days a week. The new video teller is a drive-up unit in the branch parking lot.
With the video teller installation complete, our Silver Spring office will convert from a brick-and-mortar office to a stand-alone video teller service site at the end of April. The video teller service will provide for the transactional needs for our customers and continue to serve the many people who use our ATM.
Customers have recently been made aware of these plans and were invited to visit our other Milwaukee-area locations for in-person assistance, including Milwaukee Capitol, Brookfield Capitol, and Bayshore. In fact, most of our Silver Spring customers already use one of these branches on a regular basis, or live near a branch. All of our employees will be retained and offered positions at other offices.
Bayshore moving to brand-new facility
The bank is happy to announce the relocation of our Bayshore branch to a separate facility on Silver Spring Drive, bringing the branch out of the mall.
North Shore Bank has been serving residents and businesses in this area for 39 years, and we are delighted to offer additional service access for customers, including drive-up video teller service — the first time we have had drive-up service available for them. This will allow for local residents to have even easier access to do their banking.
Our new office opened this week and features an interactive kiosk, self-serve coin counter, access to experts via videoconference, and a welcoming, open-concept layout.
All of the retail banking updates set for 2018 are part of our focus on improving and enhancing our branch and video teller network to aid customers and strengthen their banking experience.
