North Shore Bank employees took part in Literacy Green Bay’s Scrabble Bee on March 1, an annual fundraiser for the group, at the Swan Club in De Pere. Steven Rewolinski, VP, business banking (pictured above, in sport coat), serves on Literacy Green Bay’s board and was part of the event, along with VP and commercial treasury manager Penny Foust and VP and commercial loan officer Jim Goetz.
“There were two big games of Scrabble with very liberal rules, so there were definitely some made-up words and you were able to bribe the judges, etc.,” Steve jokes. “We did not win, but a good time was had by all. The proceeds raised were over $52,000, which exceeded the goal of $50,000, and that will help fund most of LGB’s programs for a year.”
