We celebrated the grand opening of our new Shorewood office in style with a VIP ribbon-cutting event on July 31. Community officials joined bank staff to celebrate the new building’s opening and North Shore Bank’s founding 95 years ago in the village. Above, branch manager Shannon Weber cut the ribbon with Shorewood Village president Allison Rozek and North Shore Bank chairman and CEO Jim McKenna. The $100 in cash that constituted the ribbon went to the Shorewood Historical Society.
At the event, we also officially unveiled the branch’s bike rack, which was designed and created by students from Shorewood High School.
Grand opening events and activities are taking place through this Saturday, August 11, including prize drawings, giveaways, an ice cream social, informational sessions, and a birthday party. The first 50 kids at the party will each get to take home a free piggy bank.
