North Shore Bank is sponsoring Spell Wars, an adult spelling bee fundraiser for the Adult Literacy Center of Ozaukee County, taking place tomorrow, Friday, September 7. The event includes dinner, dessert, and a silent auction and raffle.

Union Grove Super Saturday takes place this Saturday, September 8. This community family event has a Fifties Sock Hop theme this year and will feature a costume contest, a late-night street dance, and so much more.

Elmbrook Humane Society’s 11th annual Wagfest takes place this Saturday, September 8, and is sponsored by North Shore Bank. There’s no admission, and your pups are welcome!

Park at our Oneida Street office for just $10 for the Green Bay Packers game this Sunday, September 9. All of the money collected goes to benefit Boy Scout Troop 1139.

The Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series presents Sarah McQuaid at the Unitarian Church in Mequon on Friday, September 14. The Madrid-born, Chicago-raised, Cornwall-based singer/songwriter has expanded her battery of instruments to include piano, electric guitar and drum, and it’s drawn critical raves internationally. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The Glow in the Garten 3K Walk/Run takes place Saturday, September 15, at Petrifying Springs Park & Biergarten. Enjoy a night of family fun with everything neon, light-up, and glow-in-the-dark, and support the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha.

The Polish Center of Wisconsin is holding a Summer Beer Garden & Patio Party every Tuesday through September 25 from 4 to 10 p.m. Enjoy Polish sausage and other delicious food and drink, as well as yard games and socializing.
