West Allis branch manager Marie Cruz’s 16-year-old son Natanael competed in a Game Day USA baseball tournament at the Rock sports complex in Milwaukee from July 5 to 7, his pitching helping his team win the championship. He pitched seven innings with 10 strikeouts to help win the final game over Muskego High School, 3-2.

“I enjoyed watching my son have a number of great plays on the field,” Marie said. “Being the mom of a pitcher is very nerve-racking, because all eyes are on you and your son. In the end, it all went well and I am so proud of his confidence on that mound.”
