North Shore Bank sponsored the kids’ race at the Shorewood Criterium Classic on June 27. The annual bike competition is part of the 11-day Tour of America’s Dairyland, which draws over 500 cyclists from around the world every year. The village has been part of the tour for 16 years.

Besides the classic itself, the day included lots of other entertainment and family fun. Above, Shorewood personal banker Jazzmen McCallister and teller Audrey Elliott help sign up a young racer.

“Although we had a huge turnout, the weather did not cooperate,” said branch manager Shannon Weber. “The day started with sun and 80s to 90s for temperature, but as we got closer to the kids’ race, horrible storms came through and we had to cancel the event.” Above are Audrey, Shannon, personal banker Kenya Owens, and Jazzmen at the classic.
