Commercial Banking packs, delivers treats for clients
Business bankers on the assembly line, getting the boxes ready.
The Commercial Banking team packed and delivered 550 boxes of holiday goodies for North Shore Bank business clients last week. The treats inside all came from local businesses who are also our clients.
Contents of the boxes included caramels from Cream City Caramels & Confections in Wauwatosa, sausage and cheese from West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe, popcorn from Milwaukee’s Treat Street Popcorn, cocoa from Hollander Chocolate Co. in Fox Point, beef jerky from O’Leary’s Goods in Green Bay, chocolate pecan pie from Door County’s Sweetie Pies, Evil Ways IPA from Milwaukee’s Eagle Park Beer, and a North Shore Bank frosted cookie from Rocket Baby Bakery in Wauwatosa.

“Our team worked hard and showed a lot of flexibility to get the boxes packed and delivered to our clients. Some of these businesses are not used to getting orders of this size, so we had to modify the plan to allow them to supply their products for the gift boxes over a two-week period,” said Margaret Capper, SVP commercial banking manager. “It’s so worth it because our clients really appreciate their relationship with North Shore Bank and that we’ll go the extra mile to spread holiday cheer while also promoting our local businesses.” •••
Northland collects, donates gifts for local families

Northland branch employees and customers donated gifts for families in need this holiday season. Branch manager Lacee Kalepp was connected with the families and got their wish lists through a local school. Tags marked with items from the lists were hung on a tree at the branch, and customers could take the tags and purchase the items for the branch to donate. Branch employees also bought gifts from the lists, and Lacee dropped them off at the school.
“It felt great,” teller Kathleen Veu said. “It’s nice because they’re local kids and there’s a real sense of community in being able to help them out. It’s always something we like to do at this time of year.” •••

“I participate in the Fight For Air Climb because it’s a fun way to raise money for a worthy cause. The money raised funds lung research and education,” deposit services supervisor Kristin Hoch says. “Preparing for the climb each year motivates me to get in shape. Some years I do better than others, but I am always trying to beat my previous climb time. It is a great feeling of accomplishment to reach the top, and I enjoy spending time together with the other coworkers on the team. I hope you will join us!”

Residential loan specialist Alexandria Hall is from Milwaukee and previously worked at Chase Bank in home equity loan processing. “One interesting fact about me is that I have a great ear for music. I am able to hear and identify different notes and keys played by instruments,” she says. She also loves to cook and bake and is the proud mother of a 9-year-old daughter, Mya. •••
