Mindful Minute: Take time for random acts of kindness
Welcome to February’s Mindful Minute! The focus for this month is random acts of kindness.

We tend to get wrapped up in the crazy pace of our days, our lives, and forget simple considerations. This month’s challenge is to take a moment to do small, simple things that can have such a big impact. Something as simple as buying someone a cup of coffee can trigger a ripple effect of good vibes! When you do this, you also have a positive impact on yourself. Performing small acts of kindness helps stop the negative self-talk and critical judgment that many of us experience throughout the day. That carries through to our interaction with co-workers and family.

Did you know there are times when employees can make changes to their benefit elections outside of the annual open enrollment period?

Branches bowl to support Special Olympics event

The Southridge and Forest Home branches joined forces to sponsor a team in the nine-pin tap bowling tournament for the Hypothermic Hawks on January 19. The Hawks raise money for the annual Muskego Polar Plunge Special Olympics fundraiser, which takes place this Sunday, February 9.
