Northside went all out celebrating assistant branch manager Cathy Straka’s birthday this week. “Cathy has worked very hard and supported the branch through medical leaves, COVID, and construction, and always has a smile and positive outlook,” branch manager Lisa Brooks said. “I love her and wanted to give her a big surprise for her birthday.”

Lisa got the Racine Fire Department to do a drive-by with sirens blaring and lights flashing. She also got Cathy’s family to surprise her with a socially distanced birthday parade, and co-workers decorated Cathy’s workspace and cooked her a homemade lunch. “A great day for a great employee!” Lisa said.
