Here are the April winners of our Seymour Salutes awards:

  • Megan Wick, Senior Customer Assistance Rep

A customer had this to say about her service: “Megan was very helpful! I was nervous to call because I knew I’d made an error with my account that caused it to become overdrawn, and I haven’t had the best luck with customer service areas at other companies lately, but Megan was certainly an exception. She was thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and offered great solutions. She not only empathized with my situation, knowing I’d just made an honest mistake, but she also refunded my fees and helped me get overdraft protection set up. Thank you for training your employees so well — this experience really was a breath of fresh air. I hope Megan gets the recognition she deserves!”

Rising Stars
Our Rising Stars for April are customer assistance reps Amber Gruhlke and Elise Lueneburg, and senior customer assistance rep Danny Slattery. Rising Stars have been with North Shore Bank for less than two years.

A bank employee sent in these comments after Amber helped with his personal accounts: “I just wanted to share that I reached out to customer assistance today for something I noticed that looked funny in my checking account. What a great experience I had with Amber — she was wonderful, personable, just great to deal with, and most of all helpful! This was a WOW customer experience for me!”

Here’s what a customer said after Elise helped his elderly mother with online banking: “Elise was wonderful! She was knowledgeable, patient, empathetic, and very professional. My mom doesn’t like asking for help, because people don’t always treat her nicely since she’s older and not very computer-savvy. But Elise took her time and made my mother feel very comfortable using the service, and making sure we both understood what we were doing. Kudos to you as well, because you’re obviously training your employees very well! Thank you for being a great bank for my mom!”

And a customer left this message about Danny: “Danny was SO helpful! My sister was having so much trouble booking this vacation with her debit card, and we were under the wire to get it done before the deal ended. Danny helped us within five minutes and was so professional and kind. I bank at Associated, but I’m not satisfied with them, and because of Danny alone, I may end up moving all of my accounts over to North Shore Bank! Thank you for the training and customer service you provide through great reps like Danny. Keep hiring more people like him!”
