Talking to the right person could earn you serious money with the bank’s employee referral program! Just ask Kenosha community engagement manager Danielle Hansen. Not only did she earn bonuses for referring qualified job candidates, she also just won $500 in gift cards in our quarterly drawing.
“I just promote North Shore Bank with my experiences over the years and the various opportunities among the different departments,” Danielle said. “It’s easy if you just listen to people and their stories, ask questions, and share experiences. Work is often a common topic, whether you know the person or not.”
For each qualified referral you make, you get a bonus of up to $2,000 (depending on the position), along with incentives including a $100 gift card (given during your referral’s first week on the job) and being entered into the quarterly drawing.
A qualified referral is a friend, acquaintance, or recruit from another business who is hired by North Shore Bank and remains continuously employed with us for at least 180 days. (Someone who stops in at a branch to ask about a job is not a qualified referral, nor is a previous or current North Shore Bank employee.) All employees except for senior executives and HR staff are eligible for employee referral rewards, with the stipulation that district, branch, and department managers are not eligible if the referral is for a role they are responsible for.
To receive a referral payment, both you and your referral must be employed on the payment disbursement date. The first half of a referral payment will be paid out after the new hires’ first 30 days, and the remaining half paid out after 180 days.
To qualify for incentives, the Employee Referral Form must be filled out prior to your referral’s start date.
