Employees at Westgate threw a surprise baby shower for teller Janette Pizarro, who is set to deliver a baby boy late next month. “Janette was really surprised!” branch manager Julie Goebel said. “Everyone brought in food to share, and the branch served customers cake.”

“The baby shower was an unexpected surprise!” said Janette, who also has a 4-year-old daughter, Jenasis. “I’m so grateful to work with people so awesome and generous. The day was full of good spirits and even better food, all in celebration of my new arrival. Couldn’t ask for a better team!”

And at Corporate, deposit operations rep Debra Jones celebrated her “golden birthday” on Tuesday, June 27.

“Every year is Jonesy’s golden birthday,” Mail Services supervisor Colleen Moore explained. “She bring in treats, dresses like a queen, and then requests that everyone in her department sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.” Besides all of that, senior deposit operations rep Janet Russell also made Jonesy’s favorite treat — banana pudding — for everyone to enjoy.
