North Shore Bank branches held their annual free Community Shredding Day on May 6, and invited the public to bring in sensitive documents for safe and secure destruction. We don’t know yet precisely how many pounds of paper we collected this year, but AVP of marketing communications Kate Knox said it looked like it would end up being about the same as last year, when we brought in over 38 tons.
Here are some photos from branches this year.
Members of the public pulled into the parking lot at Brookfield Square to drop off their paper for shredding.
At Brookfield Square, Aaliyah and her mom, customer assistance rep Kelly Schneider, mailroom assistant Colleen Moore, SVP Sue Doyle, and corporate receptionist Nancy Hanson helped out with collection efforts.
At Burlington, branch manager Robin Callis was ready to serve.
At East, VP Craig Witz helped one of many customers unload her car.
And East personal banker Amanda Kolosovsky greeted members of the public as they pulled in with paper to shred.
We’ll post the final tonnage when we get it. You can see more photos on the bank’s Facebook page.
