Corporate employees could have their cake and decorate it too on March 23, at the Corporate Community Outreach Committee’s cake event to benefit the Waukesha Food Pantry. Employees were asked to donate birthday cake supplies so that the food pantry could supply them to kids in need.

The drive brought in $504 and three large barrels of cake supplies. The event also included a cake decorating competition and a cake walk. Decorating contest winners and their prizes were:

1st place: Erica Kuik (puppy cake) – $20 gift card
2nd place: Cheryl Lang (pretty cake) – $15 gift card
3rd place: Ann Marie Krecak (soccer Seymour cake) – $10 gift card
4th place: Kathy Wagner (Seymour birthday cake) – cake stand
5th place: Pat Ingelse (bunny butt cake) – cupcake carrier
6th place: Pam Bradley (balloons cake) – cake decorating books
