Who’s the cutest of them all? Here are some of NSB’s favorite pets

In celebration of National Pet Day next week on April 11, we asked for photos of your favorite critters. And you delivered — here are some of North Shore Bank’s furry friends!

Sundae is an 11-year-old peekapoo, and Rocco is a 12-year-old Chesapeake Bay retriever. “This picture was taken when they first met each other 11 years ago, when we brought Sundae home,” says Green Bay West teller Shanna Krause. “They have been best friends ever since.”

Here’s Remi, a 3-year-old Cavachon (a King Charles cavalier and bichon frise cross), who belongs to commercial loan service analyst Kathy Tetzlaff.

Union Grove personal banker Chris Nielsen shared this group shot of 2-year-old bulldog Layla, 10-year-old bull terrier Jake, and 6-year-old boxer/bull terrier Charlie.

“This is Ellie and Otis trying to be all cute and nice after getting in trouble for running into the street after a squirrel,” reports Grafton teller Caroline Holzer. “They are chocolate Labs, and they frequently visit our branch.”

“Wally is my 10-month-old, 90-pound goldendoodle nephew,” writes AVP Pat Ingelse. “He is always open for belly rubs and hugs. When he is in the car, he will very calmly sit and stare out the back window — until a semi pulls up behind us. Then he turns into a chicken!”

Wauwatosa teller Caitie Ochs submitted photos of 3-year-old teddy-bear mix Harley (“He likes to bark at everything and loves playing fetch and tug-of-war”), 2-year-old Lab mix Sally (She thinks she is a lap dog and is the biggest cuddler you will ever meet. She loves to play fetch outside with her ball, and will whine at anyone and everyone to get them to take her outside”), and Benji, a bichon/poodle mix. “Benji was 14 years old, and he went to doggie heaven on February 10,” Caitie says. “He loved hamburgers from Kopp’s and giving lots of good cuddles.”

Max is a Jack Russell terrier mixed with Chihuahua, and Popeye is a teacup Chihuahua and pug mix. They belong to West Allis personal banker Shannan Mahloch.

New Southridge assistant branch manager–sales Cassandra James brings Steny into the NSB family. “His birthday was on April 1, and he turned 1!” she says. “He’s a Doberman mix that we got from a rescue in Texas and is an 80-pound lap dog!”

“This is Vada, a 2-year-old English bulldog,” says Pulaski area manager Katie Presser. “She loves going up north with me, where she can run around and jump in the lake. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle!”

“Handsome is a white and red English bulldog,” reports Greendale assistant branch manager–operations Tiffany Dettmann. “He turned 1 year old on April 1 and is the sweetest boy I have ever met! Peach is a brindle English bulldog that we just adopted on March 16. She is only 10 weeks old and weighs 9 pounds. Handsome and Peach both love to play outside and looooovvvveeee meeting new people.”

“Meet Echo, a 6-month-old blue heeler/border collie mix,” says deposit operations team lead Kristin Hoch. “We lost our beloved dog of 17 years, Tipper, in September 2016. And then in October 2017, my children lost their father. I had already been looking weekly at the puppies available from the Humane Society and decided it was time. My kids and I fell in love with Echo the instant we met. She is the sweetest, most energetic, intelligent, and playful pup I know! Echo has filled our hearts with love and is helping us mend after our loss.”

Bindi is an Australian shepherd mix who belongs to Allouez universal banker Olivia Vechart and just turned 1 in February. “She loves to play fetch and absolutely loves the beach, as well as playing with her pals at doggie daycare and the dog park,” says Olivia.

Gizmo is a 6-month-old shih tzu. He belongs to deposit service rep Erica Kuik.

“This is my little Labrador retriever, Bailey,” reports McHenry assistant branch manager–sales Kerri Hoehn. “She just turned 4 months old!”

Mollie is 10 and belongs to Union Grove assistant branch manager–operations Tiffany Duck.

“This is Gus. We adopted him on March 8 from Orphans of the Storm in Deerfield, Illinois,” writes Lake in the Hills area branch manager James Shook. “He’s a dachshund mix, and we think he is about 4.”

“This is Millie, who turns 5 on April 2,” says AVP/area branch manager Mickey Adams. “She is an English cocker spaniel who loves to be in the boat fishing or just enjoying a swim or nap on the dock.”

Nova is an 8-month-old Australian shepherd who belongs to Allouez assistant branch manager–sales Brett Staeven.

“This is Chewy! He’s an 11½-year-old shih tzu,” writes Green Bay West assistant branch manager–sales Hali Thompson. “His hobbies include: eating, sleeping, playing with stuffed squeaky toys, giving kisses, and getting belly rubs.”
