Come help us open our second Family Read, Play, Learn Center in Milwaukee with a free laundry and financial literacy day on April 30. We are opening this new literacy learning space at the laundromat next to our Milwaukee Capitol branch with LaundryCares, Capitol Quick Wash Laundromat, and the city of Milwaukee.
We are looking for 6 volunteers to interact with families as we unlock the washers and help turn laundry time into learning time with book readings, crafting, and fun, all in the name of bringing financial literacy to the community.
Date: Tuesday, April 30, 2024
Time: 3 pm – 5 pm
