Seymour Savings and North Shore Bank helped kick off the 8th annual OSI/Miron April Fools’ 5K Fun Run/Walk in Appleton on March 23 to benefit Appleton High School athletics. Played by customer Kyle Van Lith, Seymour took part in a mascot mini dash before the main race. Appleton Northland teller Kathleen Veu attended as Seymour’s “spotter,” taking photos and helping him on and off the bus.
“It was a great time!” Kathleen reports. “The mascots were at the end of the race to cheer on all the runners. There was a DJ at the start and end of the race, and the mascots got to dance with the runners and have fun. There was even a selfie contest before the race, in which the runners needed to get a picture with the all of the mascots to win a prize.”
